Olusegun Agagu University of science and technology had the privilege to have reverse some programs duration from 5years to 4years initial acceptance by the NUC
The national University Commission (NUC) has approved the university’s request to revert to the original approved duration of four years for the following programs in the School of Science of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology. With this approval, graduates from the following programs will henceforth be awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in B.Sc as against the hitherto B.Tech.

- MICROBIOLOGY
- ZOOLOGY
CHEMICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT:
- BIOCHEMISTRY
- INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY
MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT:
- COMPUTER SCIENCE
- MATHEMATICS
- STATISTICS
PHYSICAL SCIENCES:
- GEOPHYSICS
- PHYSICS
